Nothing but a curved matress needle, a thin sewing needle, cloth, sharpie, a q-tip (for the nose), whiteout (for the eyes), cloth, lots of thread, and HELL-DRIVEN DRIVE TO FINISH THIS FURSMURGIN' DOLL BEFORE THE NEXT CHRISTMAS CAME!
Yes... This means that Axel can NEVER-EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER take a shower or bath with any use of his head. If so, then his face will wash off. All other parts of his body may be washed, though.

I love-hate this doll. Six SLAVING months of hard word just for my friend's LATE LATE LATE LATE LATE LATE CHRISTMAS PRESENT! (One late for each month.) I kept remaking the doll, so that's why it took so long. Not only that, but because his hair took longer than expected.

Dear Lord, I am NEVER making spikes again. D'x Murder on my fingers.

He refused to take good pictures, too. In one of them, he attempted to snatch the camera away from me in attempt to escape. D:< Then he went all... "Oh, I'm so camera shy! I'll show my uke side now!" Urgh...

Anywho, many people say that Axel looks like a voodoo doll. I wouldn't be surprised, seeing as how I stuck so many needles and pins in him.

NOW! ONTO THE DETAILS OF HIS CREATION!!
Axel was made of unknown fabrics. That is all I can say. I just know that he was made from my old clothes that I never wore.
Skin was from a shirt that choked me whenever I tried wearing it since it was so stretchy. Perfect for doll-making, and the perfect shade. (Besides, when I wore it, it made me look nekkers. )
Hair was made from this god-awful red vest that I would never wear. (Too bright and too tight.)
Underskin was made from a white jacket that my stepmother wore. >.<; Never would I even dream of wearing it. -Gags at the thought- (Yes, my stepmother is THAT fashion-returded.)
Lastly, Axel's Jacket. The zipper was part of a whole community of zippers my stepmother got for free from Levi's when she worked there 10-or-so years ago. (I'm 15, which would make my age 5 and in kindergarten.) And yes, I am aware that the zipper is supposed to be silver or black. I attempted painting the zipper. No-go. Gotta make the best of what I have, right?
The cloth of Axel's Jacket was made from a square yard of sample fabric stepmother got from Levi's back when she worked there.
HOORAY FOR RECYCLING! ^o^

Now then, onto (shocking) facts about the maker of this doll (me):
-I have never played Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, or Final MIx.
-Why? Because I don't own a PS2 or PS3.
-And Final Mix is only out in Japan, which would make the import a tad illegal. (Eep.)
-No, I am not taking commissions
-No, I'm not working on any other dolls at the moment.
-Why? Because I have to work on my cospla~y... Dx
-Why cosplay? Because I furkin' love to. 8)
-...Plus my costumes are getting too small for me. <.<;
-And NO, I do not OWN this doll. It's a GIFT for a close friend.
-Said friend received the doll today at a mini-reunion bash I threw together today.
-She ripped the wrapping off with her teeth.
